This blog will allow us to give you more information on the movements of the pallid harrier, especially as it starts it's migration north in spring to it's breeding grounds. At the moment the pallid harrier has decided to winter in eastern Syria, staying within the fertile land close to the Euphrates river. This is a far cry from it's normal wintering grounds in Africa!
